Recruitment Process

County Teachers have designed a wide range of services so we are ideally placed to work with any school, nursery, academy or specialist centre. We cover all phases of education and can provide staffing solutions from hourly and daily supply to permanent or interim assignments.

At County Teachers , we adhere to a code of practice which guarantees that our recruitment process includes:

  • An initial pre-screen via telephone
  • A competency based face-to-face interview with a phase specialist consultant
  • Qualification, skills and experience checks (comparability also obtained for overseas trained applicants)
  • Five years of references (including the most recent employer)
  • An Enhanced Disclosures & barring Service (DBS) check
  • Protection of Children Act List (POCAL) check
  • List 99 check
  • Personal identification and proof of right to work confirmation check
